I wanted to send you a short note about Cathy Lutz, who was my realtor for the sale of my townhome on Woodcrest Drive in Morristown this year. We originally had the property on the market from April – December 2009, with another realtor (Weichert) with no success. Quite frankly, once Weichert got the listing, they did absolutely nothing to try to sell the property, except to tell us to lower the price several times (which we did). We finally took it off the market at the end of 2009.

And when we found the right house, she made sure everything was done right by us — from price to taxes to a number of other things we weren’t even aware of, she had us covered. Did I mention we had a ridiculous wish list? Or that when we finally found *the house,* it was already under attorney review with another buyer? Or that four days before close, there was an issue with the mortgage company that could have put the whole thing at risk? Cathy never blinked an eye. I have no idea how she did it, but she made it all happen for us, and we could not be more grateful. Selling our 55 yrs, original-owner home in Basking Ridge, was an exceptionally successful experience thanks to our realtor, Cathy Lutz. She knew just the right start pricing to draw interested buyers, and in a week’s time, in September, had a secure buyer for us at a price higher than the original“ask”.
